In the present investigation, synthesis characterization of silver hydroxyapatite (HA-Ag) and theirbiocompatiblity application on Osteoblast cell were investigated. HA-Ag powders were synthesized by microwave method.The elemental and surface morphology were characterized using EDX and Sscanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). . From the analysis of EDX pattern, the formation of HA-Ag was confirmed. Biocombatiblity of Ag-HA discs were determined by cell adhesion using mesenchymal stem cells (hBMSCs) The cell adhesion results demonstrated the growth of (hBMSCs) cells on the surfaces of HA and Ag-HA discs after14 days of incubation. All the surfaces were able to support cell growth and metabolic activity of (hBMSCs).Therefore, it can be concluded that the substitution of Ag into HA may support the cell growth and proliferation of mesenchymal stem cells (hBMSCs).
